01 - PUNKADILLY CIRCUS

A love letter to London and its punk culture. A walk along the Thames from Westminster to Tower Bridge is a great way to absorb the history and spirit of this city. Of course with a backpack full of cans of beer and cider. Picadilly Circus – meeting point before heading out to the nightlife. Our living room was The Intrepid Fox on Wardour Street. There was so much in this area: The Astoria (Mean Fiddler), The Wag, The Marquee, Club 100, The Borderline, etc. Remember the punks at the Pic taking photos with the tourists? That was Punkadilly!

Ha-Ha!

02 - THE SCRUB...SSSSSS

There was a camping site called "Tent City" in east London from 1971 to 2000. This was located in the green area “The Wormwood Scrubs” and looked after by students. The best alternative to the outrageously expensive hotel prices in London. One night cost 10 marks. A lot of people couldn't understand why we kept going to London over and over again. But beach holidays weren't an issue for us back then. We needed the city, we needed the clubs and the pubs because we were addicted to the movement. Addicted to volume and the feeling of belonging to this subculture - to this day!

03 - BRIGHTON WILD ONE

At some point the holidays moved from the capital to the beach. We ended up on the coast of the English Channel - Brighton. It's easy to imagine the mods and the rockers as criminals, angrily chasing each other around Brighton Beach. Following in the footsteps of "Quadrophenia" we came to love and get to know Brighton and the south coast of England. Even today, hundreds of mods meet up with their souped-up scooters for the “Brighton Mod Weekender” in the English seaside resort to celebrate. So the beach is really cool: rebellious and romantic at the same time!

04 - PART TIME PUNKS

A cover version of the cult hit "Part Time Punks" by the English band "Television Personalities". Written in 1978 by bandleader and singer Dan Treacy.
The lyrics are a humorous satire of the posturing, fashion-oriented "plastic" punks that emerged after the English punk rock movement emerged from the underground and became mainstream, particularly after Bill Grundy's infamous live TV interview with the Sex Pistols on Today in 1976, during which the band swore and the TV presenter was subsequently fired from the ITV channel.

05 - THE PUB SONG

We're not reinventing the wheel of the punky mood-maker and are presenting our shout-along mood-setting hit. Hit? Ohhhhhh, well maybe shit! In this almost five-minute Pubeldee, Pubeldee Pub masterpiece, the days and weeks fly by. Don't forget to eat and a little rest are of course part of a balanced pub life - whether on the beach or in the city! I Pub, You Pub - We're All Pub Cheeeeeeeeeeers!!!!
